Costume Shirt (Loki x Reader)

A/N: Costume shirts for those who don't know are shirts that look like you are the character you choose (like you were wearing the top portion of their clothes) Anyway, enjoy.

*Breif explanation*
Loki had been working for SHIELD for the past nine years after he had admitted the fault of his actions and SHIELD finally trusted him. Along the way he fell in love with (y/n) (l/n), a mere mortal.... Sort of. She is a mutant with the ability to bend elements who was a fellow Avenger. After a while of dating they had settled down and gotten married and a while after had a son, Thomas Christopher Lokison.

Loki had been away for a mission for a couple days now and (y/n) had been home with their six year old son who was very energetic and michevious like his father. (y/n) was currently trying to find the little bugger in their house. She was planning on taking the small prince to the mall and it was difficult to find out where her son was since he had been using his magic he had inherited from his father to hide.

"Thomas Christopher Lokison! You come out of hiding or you won't get a new toy when we go to the mall!" (y/n) shouted and in a flash of green and gold her son was standing in front of her. "I'm sorry mother, please forgive me." The little raven haired boy said innocently, his (e/c) eyes shining brightly. "It's ok honey. As long as you don't go around blowing up 'frustrating Midguardian devices' like your father." she said earning a laugh from the little boy. "I'll try not to Momma." Thomas said as they continued to giggle.

"So when are we going to the mall? Is uncle Thor going to be there? Or the other Avengers?" The little trickster fired off his questions at a rapid pace, because what kid didn't? (y/n) chuckled lightly before kneeling to the six year old's height. "I was planning on going soon, yes uncle Thor will meet us there and Steve and uncle Tony as well. Clint and Nat are on the same mission your father is on so they won't be coming though. And Bruce is in South America." the little boy's face lit up at hearing that he was going to see his uncle and other 'uncles'. "Then lets go!" He exclaimed while trying to push his mother through the door.

"Come on move woman! We gotta go to the mall! Move your big butt so I can see my uncles!" (y/n) chuckled lightly at this comment and grabbed her purse and keys and let Thomas push her towards the car. "Alright Mr. Pushy, I'll drive." (y/n opened the back door for her son to climb in and helped him buckle up before she went to the driver's seat and started the car. They pulled out of the driveway and headed to the mall.

~Time skip to the mall~

When you got to the mall Thomas practically dragged you across the parking lot and through the main entrance. Standing in the center of the main area of the mall where there were benches and a small water fountain, were Tony, Thor, and Steve. All wearing civilian clothes and sunglasses, Thor with his hair in a pony tail and Tony wearing a fedora. Tom immediately let go of your hand and bolted through the crowds to his uncles, which gave you a mini heart attack before you saw Thor pick up the little rascal and ruffle his raven hair (much to the little boy's dismay).

You had just approached the group and chuckled at the pouty face your son was giving Thor. "Don't touch my hair uncle Thor." you heard him say as he tried to fix his chin-length hair. Thor chuckled at your son's comment. "You sound just like your father when he was around your age." he said setting the child down. Tony approached you as Steve, Thor, and Tom started a conversation. "So Avatar, you know when Legolas, Red, and Reindeer Games are coming back from their mission?" he asked and you rolled your eyes at the nicknames. "One. They are supposed to be returning tonight, could be tomorrow. Two. Never call me Avatar again, same goes with calling Loki 'Reindeer Games'. Or else I will metalbend all of your suits into pretzels and program JARVIS to speak latin for a week." at thisTony gulped and backed away.

"So, where do you guys want to go?" you asked the small group. "Spenc-" Tony started but you cut him off. "Nope. We are not going there Tony." Steve, Thor and Tom looked at you two in confusion as Tony whined. "Spencers is not a store I would like my son going to. End. Of. Discussion." you said and came up with an idea of where to go. "Hot Topic isn't that bad, how about there?" you suggested. Tony and Tom nodded as the other two stared blankly in confusion. "It's a store that's kid- freindly and sells superhero stuff as well as other things from tv shows and comic books. Hey you might see some merchandise that has to do with you." you clarified, Thor and Steve nodding in agreement.

Once you got to the store you instantly saw a bunch of Captain America stuff and Ironman stuff. As you looked further into the store you saw some Thor stuff and what surprised you was some Elementra {your superhero name} things. Tom ran up to a shirt with you on it, almost knocking over a girl with short blonde hair and black framed glasses. "Whoah there little buddy, slow down. Nearly knocked me down." the girl, about fourteen or fifteen said chuckling lightly as she picked up something that she had been holding off of the ground. "I'm sorry about my son, he was just excited to see this t-shirt is all. Thomas, apologise to the nice girl." you said and the girl stood up and smiled at you, her gray-green eyes looking into your own (e/c) ones.

"It's alright Mrs. Laufeyson, people are always bumping into me and knocking me over. Plus who wouldn't be excited over an Elementra shirt." the girl said suprising you with her knowledge of your surname. "I'm a bit of a fan. I'm a mutant too so I can relate. SHIELD practically scooped me up the first sign of my abilities." this suprised you more at the news of another mutant. "You work for SHIELD?" you asked and Steve overheard and stood next to you, interested in this young SHIELD agent. "Yup. Agent Serenity Johnson, or as I'm more known for Neptune. Pleasure to make your aquaintence (y/n), Cap, and Tom." Serenity said as she shook your hand then Steve's before kneeling to Tom's height and shaking his hand as well. {yes, I just had to put myself in there}

Steve began to have a small conversation with the young girl as you looked around some more, picking up a shirt with a chibi Loki on it that was your size deciding to buy it and putting it in a little hand cart. You came across a whole bunch of costume shirts. You saw a Thor one, a Captain America one, an Ironman one, Hawkeye, Hulk, even a Loki one as well as an Elementra. The shirts varied from mens to womens and boys. Tom looked at the ones that would fit him and picked up one of each of the guys' costume t-shirts. "You can get one, I don't have much money on me and I'm pretty sure they don't take my credit card here." you said and Tom pouted. Tony noticed this and walked over to the two of you. "It's alright Tom, I'll get these for you. Your mother's just being a big meanie." at hearing this you kicked your brother in the leg.

"Ow! No need to hurt me." Tony said whining as he rubbed his leg and your son giggled at seeing his uncle acting like a child. "In all defense Mr. Stark, you did insult her." The girl from before, Serenity, said as she shuffled through some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle things. "How?" was all Tony said as he looked at the girl with a skeptical look. "Tony, this is Serenity. She works for SHIELD." you introduced and Serenity held her hand out for Tony to shake, which he accepted. "You guys should totally get your own costume t-shirts to wear on down time. That would be pretty funny." Serenity added and Tony's face lit up. "This kid's a genious!" he exclaimed and grabbed a large Thor shirt before going up to him and holdinjg it up to see if it would fit before doing the same with a medium sized Captain America shirt for Steve.

You chuckled at your brother's antics and picked up a mens small Loki shirt and a womens (size) Elementra shirt as well as a mens medium Hawkeye and a medium womens Black Widow shirt for Clint and Natasha. You felt a tug on your (f/c) t-shirt and looked down at your son. "Can you get this one for you to wear? I want to match you and Daddy when I wear mine." he said holding up a womens (size) Loki shirt. "That would be so adorable!" Serenity gushed. Tony paid for the shirts after you convinced him to not get Bruce a Hulk shirt for certain reasons, and you each recieved your respective shirts while you held onto Clint and Natasha's and headed your seperate ways and said goodbye to Serenity.

~Time Skip to your house~

Once you got home Tom ran to his room and put on his Loki shirt and ordered you to do the same. Not wanting to argue with a six-year old you obliged and you both settled down on the couch to watch tv. You were immersed in Lilo and Stitch when you heard the sound of keys in the lock of the front door. Tom had been snoozing on your shoulder but snapped into attention at the sound of the door opening. The little boy shot up off of the couch and ran to his father and hugged him as you stood up and faced the two. Loki looked at your shirt and raised an eyebrow. "We went to the mall with Tony, Thor, and Steve today and Tom made me get it so we could match. I also have one that looks my supersuit as well as a cute t-shirt that has you on it. We also got you a t-shirt like mine and Tom's." You spoke before hugging your husband after he had set your son down.

"I have to say, you do look ravishing in that shirt my darling." he purred in your ear before giving you a kiss much to Tom's chagrin. "Eeew! Will you two desist?" the little boy whined earning a chuckle from you and Loki. "He is definitely your son. I mean look at him! He's like your clone!" You exclaimed and Tom crossed his arms and glared at you, Loki mirroring his actions. "That's just adorable." you gushed and Loki and Tom burst into laughter. Tom caught his breath and tugged on Loki's green dress shirt getting his attention. "You should put on your t-shirt!" he exclaimed merrily. "Alright my little Loki." he said before heading to your room. He came out and you smiled at the sight. "This is quite odd. It's like I'm in my armor but I'm not." Loki stated as he made his way to you and your son. "Shall I take a photo miss?" SYLVIA, your AI, asked. "Sure SYLVIA." you answered as you stood closer to Loki and Tom as you smiled for the small camera that came down from the celing.

You looked at the holo screen in front of you to see the picture of your small family as you heard Stitch in the background going "This, is my family. It is small, and broken. But still, good. Yeah, still good." and smiling brighter.
